Rodger’s Journey: From Forgotten to Forever Loved
I’m Rodger, and this is my story.

Almost five years ago, I came into a world that was far colder than any winter night. At just 10 months old, my family left me behind when they moved—thrown away like trash, forgotten without a second thought.

Alone and scared, I wandered the streets for over three and a half years, fighting to survive. I endured freezing nights, scorching days, and endless hunger. My tiny body weathered storms that no living creature should face. Each day, I wondered if anyone would ever see me—not just as a stray cat, but as someone worthy of love.

Then, on January 15, when the world was wrapped in icy silence, a kind man saw me. He didn’t look away. He rescued me from the brutal arctic cold, giving me a chance when life had given me none.
But my heart’s true miracle came on January 30, when I was adopted by my forever human. For the first time, I had a home—not just walls and a roof, but warmth, safety, and love.
This Christmas is my first ever indoors. I have a family now—a brother and four sisters who share toys, soft beds, and endless cuddles. There’s always enough food, gentle hands, and cozy blankets. I even have something I never imagined: my very own ornament on our beautiful Christmas tree. It sparkles like hope—the same hope I clung to during those lonely street nights.
I’m Rodger, the cat no one wanted… until someone did. And now, I’ll never be forgotten again.
